We’ve got a ton of new images from the upcoming Fox movie Robots for you. I’ll be seeing it next weekend, but I can’t say I’ve been all that excited about it. The trailers really haven’t done anything for me. Of the two CGI movies coming out in the first part of this year, Robots looks the least inspired.

Still, it does feature the voice of Robin Williams, which I guess is kind of significant. I’m just not sure he’ll work in a more confined character. Part of the reason he was so genius as Genie was that the nature of the character allowed him to literally do anything. But, these images have helped get me a little more interested. The character design is really unique, all the robots look like they came out of 1950’s Sci-Fi magazines, or were cobbled together from futuristic toasters found in “The World of Tomorrow”.
