Yesterday we heard from numerous sources that the first trailer for Peter Jackson’s King Kong will debut in front of War of the Worlds. I was busy posting useless Simpson Movie rumors, and so never got around to telling you about it. But now, with a little more info on where you can see the trailer, it seems worthwhile.

According to an article this morning on KongIsKing.net, while the trailer will debut in theaters in front of Spielberg’s War of the Worlds, it seems it may be released online before the alien destruction flick’s June 29 release date.

It looks like there’s no real decision yet, the United International Pictures spokesperson who threw that out there merely indicated that this was a possibility. Though I’ll be seeing War of the Worlds regardless, it’s always nice to have the trailer available early in full screen, downloadable Quicktime. If you’re going to stream it guys, don’t bother.
