Liam Neeson May Play A Hitman In New Thriller The All Nighter image
Liam Neeson shows no signs of slowing down. In the last three years alone he's had parts - some big, some small - in 10 different movies, he's currently in production on three films to be released in 2013 and 2014, and now he's in talks to add yet another title to his upcoming slate. And we are in no way complaining about that.

The veteran Northern Irish performer is now in talks to join the cast of The All Nighter a new thriller based on a script written by Brad Ingelsby (who also wrote the upcoming Scott Cooper film Out of the Furnace). Should he sign on, Neeson will play a hitman who turns on his boss to project his wife and child, and then must go on the run from both the mob and the cops. Roy Lee, one of the industries most prolific producers in recent years, is handling the project through his Vertigo Entertainment banner along with Brooklyn Weaver for Warner Bros. Ingelsby's spec script was first purchased back in January as part of a six-figure deal. The site doesn't say who will be directing the project, nor when the studio is looking to get production started. As you can probably guess, the movie doesn't currently have a release date.

As for Neeson, he is currently re-teaming with Jaume Collet-Serra (with whom he worked on Unknown) on the airline action thriller Non-Stop, and he's also reuniting with Paul Haggis (they both worked on The Next Tree Days) for the romance The Third Person. He is also lending his voice to a character in the upcoming animated Lego movie.
