Red Band Trailer For The Grey Arrives Online
Joe Carnahan's The Grey is a dark, gritty, brutal piece of cinema, but you probably figured that out when you read that the film is about an oil drilling team that crash lands in the Alaskan wilderness and must fend off a series of wolf attacks. As you can imagine, the film has more than enough bloodshed and cursing, meaning that the green band trailers that we've shown you previously - as cool as they have been - haven't really given audiences the clearest picture about the content. Fortunately, the movie now has a new trailer with a rating that matches the feature: restricted.
Open Road Films has released a brand new red-band trailer for The Grey, which opens this Friday. Check it out below, courtesy of Break. I feel it's my responsibility to let you wonderful readers know that this movie isn't just about Liam Neeson strapping glass bottles to his knuckles and doing battle with wolves. Yes, it does have some incredibly intense action sequences and Neeson proves over and over again that he is an utter badass (seriously, Neeson > Chuck Norris), but it's also a deep, psychological trip and a great cinematic experience. I highly recommend it. The Grey also stars Dermot Mulroney, Dallas Roberts, Frank Grillo, Joe Anderson, Nonso Anozie and James Badge Dale. If you wish to learn more about the film, head over to our Blend Film Database and be on the look out for Katey's review later this week! |
