If you’ve been waiting for the first Saw IV trailer to get an idea of what the movie is about, your wait is over. The teaser trailer has arrived online. Unfortunately, it has no answers for you, so you’ll have to find something else to explain how the movie’s antagonist, Jigsaw, is both dead and in the picture. Personally, I’m voting for time travel. That seems to be the plot device of the week.

The trailer is online courtesy of Yahoo! Movies, but I’m not joking – it really reveals nothing about the movie other than the central marketing point of the series now: “If it’s Halloween, it must be Saw.” Get used to it, we’ve got at least two more years of this, not counting this year’s endeavor.

Saw IV finally kills off Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda, but Tobin Bell is contracted for seven pictures and we’ve been guaranteed he’s a major part of the film without any cheap ways of getting out of that plot point.

While you’re into things Saw, apparently the official website for the movie is online as well, over at saw4.com/. I can’t tell you what’s over there, I just got word that it was up, though, and thought I’d include it here.
