The holidays are approaching, yesterday we worked our news ass off, so that means today most of the BNN staff has permanently gone out to lunch. I’m skipping lunch on account of this hellaciously unfun diet I’m working on. No doubt I’ll lose a pound or two and then go right back to eating Grandy’s double steak dinners, gain weight, repeat. Having that sort of regularity in life can be comforting.

Since I’m the only one not on a holiday lunch break, I’m stuck reporting on the first official Sin City trailer. It hit the web today, yet I haven’t seen it. Oh I have a lovely link to it (which you’ll find at the bottom of this story), but since I’m stuck at work on an inferior browser, I’ll have no way to view it until later tonight. Don’t worry, Cinema Blend’s graphic artist Matt S. has seen it and he has this important comment for you all: “nice nice nice!”. That’s three “nices” folks, a glowing endorsement if I’ve ever heard one.

Sin City, for those not reading this site regularly, is the upcoming Robert Rodriguez film based on a series of graphic novels by Frank Miller. Graphic novels are really thick comic books. These thick comic books are noir in style and all about whores, pimps, and guys with shivs. So will the movies be, we can only assume.
