Toronto International Film Festival Lineup Announced, Looks Amazing image
Every year in mid-September, just when the moviegoing world starts to think they'll kill themselves if they see another self-described "blockbuster," the Toronto Film Festival comes along to the rescue, presenting a slate of classy indies-- many future Oscar-winners among them--and small-scale films that soothe any soul battered by Joe Carnahan and Jerry Bruckheimer.

Today the Toronto International Film Festival programmers announced this year's slate at a press conference, and as reported by Indiewire, it's an amazing lineup. Big deal premieres include Mark Romanek's Never Let Me Go, Ben Affleck's The Town, John Cameron Mitchell's Rabbit Hole, Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan and Robert Redford's The Conspirator, with at least a dozen more films in there worth getting excited about. Check out the full list below and go ahead and pick your future Oscar nominees from out of this pool.
