Relativity Media is making some changes to its upcoming schedule, and the two projects they are moving around couldn't be more different. The studio has announced via press release that the animated comedy Turkeys, starring Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson, has officially landed a due date, while the Nicholas Sparks adaptation Safe Haven is moving towards a holiday release.

While Turkeys has actually been in development for a couple of years now, it was revealed last month that the film was on track for a 2014 release date and now that's been made official. Locking it in for just before the Thanksgiving weekend, Relativity will release the Jimmy Hayward-directed title on November 14, 2014, where it is is currently alone on the schedule but sandwiched by a still-unannounced Disney Animation film on November 7th and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 on November 21st. The plot involves two birds named Jake and Reggie who discover a time travel machine in a government lab and use it to go back to the first Thanksgiving and take turkey off the menu.

As for Safe Haven, the schedule shift makes a lot of sense. Originally the Josh Duhamel-Julianne Hough romance was set to bow on February 8th of next year, but has been pushed back one week to be part of the Valentine's Day celebration. If you're curious why it wasn't put on that weekend to begin with, 20th Century Fox is all set to put out A Good Day To Die Hard on that same weekend, and one can assume that Relativity didn't want the competition. It will be interesting to see how that weekend plays out.
