Situation Is Out Of Rehab, You Think He'll Keep Drinking?
By Mack Rawden 4 years ago
After weeks inside the Cirque Lodge, Mike the Situation Sorrentino is finally free to gym, tan and laundry without restrictions. The reality star officially checked out of rehab today and was spotted at the airport, presumably for a flight back to more familiar surroundings. He’ll spend the next few months doing whatever it is he normally does during his time off before heading to his old stomping grounds this summer to shoot the much anticipated new season of Jersey Shore.
When news first broke of the Situation’s effort to get clean, he at first denied the charges but later released a statement admitting he was getting help for prescription drugs. According to TMZ, the medication was to help fight the sleepless nights associated with his numerous club appearances, but there have long been whispers about a possible alcohol problem as well. Considering the theme of Jersey Shore in addition to the specifics of his paid gigs, it would definitely be in the Situation’s financial interest to keep boozing. Unfortunately, hitting the bottle might not be in his best personal interests.
It’ll be very interesting to see what happens when the new season begins filming in a few months. I suspect Sorrentino will continue drinking as he’s probably all to aware of the financial implications that might come from being a teetotaler. I could be wrong though. What do you think?
