Series 7 of Doctor Who is underway, and fans of the show are about to get a doozy of an episode. As usual, the hit sci fi series is producing a very special holiday episode, and this year the BBC America series is putting a focus on the Doctor’s newest companion, Jenna Louise Coleman, who will show up for the second time in the series during the special episode. Now, the upcoming endeavor has earned a trailer, and a title, “The Snowmen.”

The trailer shows us Coleman and Matt Smith in the dressing room. The two seem to have pretty good rapport as they introduce the trailer for “The Snowmen,” which will features actual creepy snowmen with pointy teeth who seem to have the capacity to feed on human thoughts. The whole episode seems to feature a theme of dreams and nightmares, and looks to also feature a few nods at A Christmas Carol.

A few days ago, we brought you an extremely vague synopsis of the episode, as well as a nice picture of the Doctor in the costume he will wear throughout the special. At the time, it seemed like it may be a while before more official news about the Christmas special came down the pipeline, but I’m very happy to see that hasn’t been the case.

“The Snowmen” will air on BBC America on December 25 at 9 p.m. ET.
