Hear The DuckTales Theme Song Covered As An R&B Slow Jam

Saturday Morning Slow Jams is known for taking old-school cartoon theme songs and giving them a smooth 90s R&B make-over. That's exactly what they did for the Ducktales song. Not only will this serve nicely as your ear worm of the day, but it really is a great rendition of the theme song for Disney's classic 80s cartoon series.

The theme song for DuckTales was written by Mark Mueller, who also wrote the theme song for Chip 'n Dale Rescue Ranger, also Disney's and also from the 80s. That's another 80s cartoon theme song that could probably benefit from a Slow Jam cover, don't you think?

As for the DuckTales cover, the video comes courtesy of the ScottBradleeLovesYa YouTube channel, which also gave us the Jazzy version of the Game of Thrones theme song...

And this surreal Motown Tribute to Avril Lavigne, which really should have more than 130k views...

Because the world has been waiting for a Motown version of "Sk8er Boi." They also have at least three Nickelback videos on there, if that's your thing. And this ragtime version of the "Levels of Tetris":

Going back to those Saturday Morning Slow Jams, here's their version of the Pokemon theme song.

If you like great TV show theme song covers, try this Breaking Bad cover, this OK Go version of The Muppet Show theme song or this rock version of the DuckTales theme song.
