Jason Isaacs To Star In REM

Jason Isaacs is headed back to the small screen. Word is, the Brotherhood star has signed on to play the lead role in NBC’s drama pilot REM.

According to Deadline, Isaacs, who many may recognize from his portrayal of the sinister Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, among other roles, had a number of pilot offers and has decided to take the lead role in REM. The pilot, which is created by Lone Star’s Kyle Killen, is described as “an Inception-style thriller.” Isaacs will be playing a cop who’s in an accident and wakes up to find he’s living in two different realities.

Deadline stated that Isaacs received a number of pilot offers last year as well and went with Pleading Guilty a Fox legal drama, which apparently didn’t get picked up. Let’s hope REM has better luck as it would be great to see Isaacs on TV.
