If you haven't picked up Mass Effect: Andromeda just yet, your semi-patience is being rewarded. The recently released action RPG has officially gone on sale for gamers on the Xbox One.
Part of this week's Deals with Gold Spotlight Sale, Mass Effect: Andromeda can be yours for 35 percent off its usual price. That price will obviously vary depending on where you live but, here in the States, that means Gold subscribers can grab the latest game in the Mass Effect series for just $38.99. That wouldn't be super shocking news if it wasn't for the fact that we're talking about a game in what many consider to be one of the best series of the past (or any) gaming generation. Add to that the fact that it launched less than two months ago, and we're a little surprised to see it being so heavily discounted already.
Then again, Andromeda seemed to have a pretty quiet launch and decidedly mediocre reviews, so we're guessing it didn't create the sales wildfire some were expecting. But if you've been waiting on a discount before adding it to your own digital collection, now might be a good time to act. They got those facial animations adjusted, after all, so at least you can go in expecting less nightmare fuel than what early adopters were greeted with.
Andromeda isn't the only game discounted during this sale, though. A whole bunch of other titles are being discounted by up to 80 percent off on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360, so you'll probably want to check out that full list if you're looking for some discounted games to help get you through the summer. Here's a list of the games on sale by platform. Pay special attention if you're a Saints Row fan, because pretty much everything in that entire series is on sale here.
