Disney Interactive Studios and TT Games announce today that the semi-movie-based video game, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, will be arriving in May for the Nintendo 3DS, accompanying its multi-platform counterparts.

The game will follow the exploits of Captain Jack Sparrow and the crew of the Black Pearl as they travel across the high seas to stranger tides. The game will make full use of the 3DS and its dual-screen 3D capabilities, including a revamped pirate duel battle system using the 3DS Street Pass.

You can check out a few of the screenshots for the new game below or head on over to the Official Website to learn more about the game.
