Sony recently announced that the PlayStation Vita will launch in North America on February 22nd. However, gamers in the U.S. and Canada can actually get the handheld on February 15th by purchasing the First Edition Bundle
The bundle varies slightly according to what country you're in. The U.S. First Edition Bundle ($349.99) contains a PS Vita 3G + Wi-Fi model, a limited edition case, 4GB PS Vita Memory Card, and a copy of Little Deviants. The Canadian version has the same extras but includes the Wi-Fi only model instead and costs $299.99.
Little Deviants, described on PlayStation.Blog as a "series of madcap adventures," utilizes the Vita's front and rear touch pads, motion sensors, dual cameras and microphone. It also features an augmented reality shooter feature, in which players dodge and shoot enemies while moving around in the real world. The game's E3 trailer is below.
February 22nd is also the launch date for Latin America and Europe. There's been no announcement of a First Edition Bundle for either territory thus far.
