November has officially begun, which means it’s time for another batch of PlayStation Plus perks to be revealed. The PlayStation 3’s Instant Game Collection expands this week with several discounts, as well as a free copy of Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition for Plus subscribers.

Arriving just a little bit too late for the Halloween holiday, Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition headlines the first PlayStation Plus update for Nov. 6, complete with the entire game, two extra “episodes” of missions, additional costumes, content and more. If you missed out on Resident Evil 5 when it hit store shelves a couple of years ago, now is your chance to get the full experience included in your annual subscription to PlayStation Plus.

The remainder of this week’s updates are discounts, giving Plusers a chance to save up to 30 percent on various titles and add-ons.

First up is Portal 2, which is finally coming to PlayStation 3 as a full digital download. While the game will set most folks back $19.99, Plus subscribers can take 30 percent off, nabbing one of the best games of this generation at just $13.99. The PlayStation Move-focused “In Motion” DLC arrives this week, too, also at 30 percent off for Plus subscribers ($9.99 down to $6.99).

Finally, two new games hit the PlayStation Network this week, including When Vikings Attack and Absolute Supercars. When Vikings Attack’s goofy brawling antics have been marked down by 30 percent for Plus subscribers ($9.99 to $6.99) with Absolute Supercars receiving a 20 percent discount ($9.99 down to $7.99).

Look for these Plus deals and free content when the PlayStation Store update goes live tomorrow afternoon.
