Tony Hawk's Proving Ground Track List Revealed
When it releases this October, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground will provide more than updated gameplay. The new game from Activision will also include a plethora – si, El Guapo, a plethora! – of tracks for gamers to listen to. The list of songs includes “The Pretender,” from the Foo Fighters’ upcoming album and a number of ditties that the skater punks of the world will recognize. I’m not sure when I became afraid of standing on a skateboard, but that day is probably the same one I lost touch with what the hell new music is.
Luckily there are classic songs like “Breed” from Nirvana and “Sympathy for the Devil” by the Rolling Stones. That should get us old farts through the game relatively unscathed. Activision has certainly filled the track list with enough music – over 50 tracks total – to get even the die-hard players through the game. And if you’re so inclined there’s still the option of creating custom playlists for your 360. MCA from the Beastie boys has also been unveiled as an unlockable secret character. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the very nature of the announcement negates the “secret” aspect of MCA being in the game. Oh well, I’ll take any ill communication I can get.
Below is the list of tracks Activision has announced for Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground, which is scheduled to drop in October for most major consoles.
