Activision and High Moon Studios' Transformers: War for Cybertron made waves as being an above-par licensed-based video game. It had its moments and it was slightly more engaging than the typical AAA, trashy fanfare.

High Moon wants to further establish that Transformers games don't have to be bad, and they want to encourage gamers that the Fall of Cybertron will be chock full of epic gameplay.

As of course, we all know that devs and pubs will do and say anything to raise anticipation for a game, but I can at least attest to Transformers: War for Cybertron having a lot of potential despite being a bit dull and repetitive during large portions of the game. But don't worry, High Moon acknowledges the faults of the previous game and aim to rectify the problem for the sequel.

The game looks pretty cool. I'm not entirely sure how well that grappling hook will play in the game but I'm a bit interested in how other transformers will play in the game and what sort of diversity High Moon will bring to the table.

The game is set for release on home consoles on August 28th later this year. You can learn more about the game or pre-order by paying a visit to the Official Website.
