Xbox Live Holiday Deals Include Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Walking Dead

Next week Microsoft will launch their annual holiday sales event. They'll be offering full games as well as DLC and Avatar items at a discounted rate.

Xbox.com has been updated with the lists of games receiving discounts. The size of the discounts haven't been announced yet. Generally, though, Microsoft slashes 25-50% off games during these events so expect something similar this year.

From December 18th until December 31st, the following Xbox Live Arcade games (via NeoGAF) will receive a discount:

• Joe Danger 2: The Movie
• Zuma’s Revenge!
• The Simpsons Arcade Game
• Wreckateer
• Plants vs. Zombies
• Peggle
• PeggleNights Content Pack
• Fire Pro Wrestling
• SONIC 4 Episode II
• Sonic The Hedgehog 2
• RAW
• A World of Keflings
• A World of Keflings – Sugar, Spice and Not So Nice
• A World of Keflings – It Came From Outer Space
• Kinect Party
• Jet Set Radio

Microsoft is also planning two-week discounts on select Xbox Live Avatar equipment and Games on Demand. However, they've yet to reveal the specific items in those sales.

Each day of the holiday event will bring new deals on both Games on Demand and DLC. Here's the list of sales revealed so far:

It seems like there's plenty of things worth a purchase here, in terms of DLC and games. If you haven't played Spike VGA Game of the Year The Walking Dead yet, this is a good chance to do so.
