Prepare for Oscar Chat 2006, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the date for their 2006 ceremony. Ok, so they’re a little early.
Not to be confused with the upcoming 2005 77th Annnual Awards Ceremony which will happen on February 27, 2005, the 78th Awards will happen on March 5, 2006. They’re trying to dodge around the Winter Olympics, hence the slightly later date that year.
And that’s about all I can squeeze out of that story, except to say the Oscars as always will be on ABC, and Oscar Chat, as always will be happening here at Cinema Blend.
