Catwoman Stunt Double Crashes Into IMAX Camera On Dark Knight Rises Set

A stuntwoman dressed in the skin-tight Catwoman suit and filming a scene for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises cashed in one of her nine lives after she crashed the Caped Crusader’s Bat-Pod into an IMAX camera. The stunt fail was captured by an amateur videographer and, of course, immediately posted to TMZ. Their embeddable player isn't working, so we've brought it to you below in ours.

The video appears to come from the scene we’ve seen photographed over the last few days, with Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) piloting Batman’s cycle down the steps of what appears to be Gotham’s City Hall as a full-blown fist fight rages around her. This also appears to come from the same snowy street scenes of Batman (Christian Bale) and Bane (Tom Hardy) duking it out as policemen face off against Bane’s minions, which has been captured by amateur video and posted, freely, on the internet.

The footage of a cycle-riding Catwoman doesn’t reveal any new details about what might happen in Nolan’s anticipated Dark Knight sequel. The short clip in no way ends up being quite as revealing as the Bane footage shot from inside Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field, where you get to hear the villain’s strange accent and receive a crucial bit of plot detail regarding his sinister plan for Gotham.

But if you’re interested in the accidents that can occur on set, which sometimes can lead to the ballooning of budgets when equipment gets wrecked mid-shot, the TMZ footage of Catwoman crashing into an IMAX camera is a pretty decent find.
