Tom Hanks hasn't made a genuinely bad movie since some time in the eighties. He's come close with flicks like You've Got Mail and The Ladykillers, but even those aren't without their guilty pleasures. He's got a better personal track record since Pixar. His movies are money.
The Da Vinci Code will be his next success, and whether or not you've read the book there's no denying that the film's trailers make it all look pretty cool. So you've got to wonder what they were thinking with this new floating heads meets Stargate meets A Beautiful Mind movie poster. The first teasers had a cool Mona Lisa motif going for them, this one has pleasing colors and gigantic heads. Alright Sony, whatever.
