Exclusive Deleted Scene From Stoner Comedy HIGH School

The comedy High School isn't just one of the great stoner movies that few people have seen. It also boasts a tremendous supporting performance from Michael Chiklis, the tough-as-nails star of The Shield who changes up his style completely to play the prissy, anti-fun principal of the high school where two kids (Sean Marquete and Matt Bush) have made it their mission to get the entire school high. Think of Jeffrey Jones's performance in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, only creepier and even more ridiculous.

High School is out on DVD and Blu-Ray this week, and to give you a look at the Chiklis performance in even closer to detail, we've got this exclusive deleted scene, which shows his character Dr. Leslie Gordon placing some pretty unfair rules about workplace clothing. If you don't fee the need to vigorously wash your hands after watching this, I might worry about you.

For more smarmy ridiculousness where that came from, plus an unbelievable gonzo performance from Adrien Brody as the psychotic local drug dealer, check out High School on Blu-Ray and DVD this week. I caught the movie at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010 and in my review from there wrote that it "isn't exactly Harold and Kumar-level genius, but it is worth the legal risk"-- that is, if you're going to see it, you might want to have a joint in your hand. WIth the movie now on Blu-Ray, you finally have that option if you so choose.
