Films Registered

The National Film Registry is sort of like a Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, but for movies and sponsored by the government. Uncle Sam set them up to preserve our history, which is funny since they don’t bother to do a very good job of teaching it. Public schools suck, didn’t you know?

Here’s a list of the film’s they’ll be inducting into the registry this year. Not sure if these movies will be required to perform their greatest hits together or not, but it’s nice to see great stuff getting governmental um… approval.
