This will be a day long remembered: the Star Wars movies, arguably one of the most iconic chunks of pop culture ever, are finally making the leap to high definition. That’s right, all six films (that’s 2.5 good ones for those of you keeping count) are arriving on Blu-ray this week. It’s every fan’s chance to see the movies we grew up loving in the best quality possible. That’s the good news. Here’s the better news. Thanks to the fine folks over at Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, we’ve got one copy of Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray to give away to a lucky Cinema Blend reader!

This is the full Star Wars set: all six films and three discs of special features, including audio commentary with George Lucas on each movie. You’ll get deleted scenes, extended scenes, alternate scenes, new documentaries, and pretty much every other bit of Star Wars arcana they could cram in (at least until the next release). You can check out the full specs for all the bonus features here. The only down side is that these are the so-called Special Editions of the original three films (not to mention a few new tweaks). Still, for many fans that will be a small price to pay for Blu-ray copies of the saga that began a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

Entering is easy. Just click on over to our Facebook page, "Like" it if you haven't already, and then leave a comment on this contest post. Tell us about your favorite Star Wars memory. Maybe it’s the first time you saw the movies. Maybe it was camping out to see the re-releases with your buddies. Whatever it is, tell us your story and we’ll pick our favorite as the winner. The contest ends at 12 am EST on Wednesday, September 21st.

The winner will be notified via Facebook direct message and asked to provide their mailing addresses (no P.O. boxes please). Prize packs will be mailed directly to the winner. No purchase necessary. Failure to comply with the rules will result in disqualification and subsequent mockery. Good luck!
