Halo, BioShock And Other Fake Posters For Video Game Movies We'd Love To See

For a while, the film industry looked to the world of video games for inspiration. And while the Resident Evil and Silent Hill franchises continue to carry the torch, the parade of game-to-screen adaptations have slowed thanks to the lukewarm reception of films like

<="">, Doom or Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. That hasn’t stopped Daily Dip (via GiantFreakinRobot) from collecting a few fan-made posters for games they’d love to see translated to the motion-picture screen. Do you agree with the ones below?

I like that they went ahead and included dream casting in some of these scenarios. Adding Natalie Portman to a Portal movie is wishful thinking. So is hiring J.J. Abrams to direct the fictional Eve Chronicles. And I don’t care who is involved, I just want someone (anyone!) to make a BioShock movie … so long as they adhere to the gorgeous period details found in the underwater kingdom that is Rapture. Think how glorious that could look in IMAX?

At the very least, one of these pie-in-the-sky projects will come to fruition, as UbiSoft announced earlier this summer that it was moving forward on an Assassin’s Creed movie with Michael Fassbender in the lead role. Maybe not Cillian Murphy, as this fan had hoped, but at least the expansive world of Creed will appear on screen in some manifestation. As for the rest, we’ll just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best.
