Iron Man 2 Goes To Washington

If you're not already following Jon Favreau on Twitter, go there right now and add him to your list. He's both funny and informative, dropping little tidbits about what's happening on the set of Iron Man 2 without, presumably, getting into the spoiler territory that would give his producers a heart attack.

For example, last night he wrote this: "Leaving Edwards Air Force Base. Heading back to LA to finish out the week. My awesome crew worked their butts off. We got some great stuff." Not terribly revealing, since we all pretty much knew that part of Iron Man 2 would take place in Washington, D.C. But Coming Attractions has a scooper who can give us a little information, including which character was on the Edwards AFB set.

Mild spoilers from here: "I worked with Sam Rockwell filming a scene with a combat drone he develops. Sam is a great actor and funny as can be when he's improvising." Rockwell is playing the rival billionaire Justin Hammer, and the "combat drone" development might mark him as a serious rival to Tony Stark's Iron Man. Or, you know, Iron Man 2 could get the too many villains disease of sequels and include Rockwell's character for about 10 minutes. But I trust Favreau more than that. Don't you?
