John C. Reilly Proves That He Is The King Of Indie Comedy In The First Trailer For Terri

We need more actors like John C. Reilly. Out of all of the top talent in Hollywood, he is the only who has mastered the perfect balance between comedies and dramas and studio films and independents. Now he's at it again with Terri.

Apple has premiered the first trailer for the movie, which played at both this year's Sundance Film Festival and SXSW. In the film, Jacob Wysocki plays the titual Terri, an overweight high schooler who has basically given up. The principal (Reilly) then calls him into his office and the two begin to bond, finding that they can relate to one another.

I'll openly admit that I am kind of a sucker for movies like this, but how could you not be? There seems to be a lot of heart here and it's funny in a quirky kind of way. Who among us hasn't wished that we could say "fuck it" and wore pajamas all day. That's the dream! The movie could end up being too quirky for its own good, but I will say that I like what I saw. Terri will be released on July 1.
