Though Captain America: The First Avenger doesn't come out for another 2-3 months after Thor, Marvel has a balancing act to perform this summer. With the anticipation building for the trailer release for the Cap movie, the studio has to make sure that people don't forget about the Norse God. To their credit, it looks like it's not something that's lost of them, so while we continue to wait for that trailer, we now have two new Thor posters.

Paramount has sent over two new ads for superhero movie, one a standard one-sheet, the other a banner. The first seems to have received at least a little influence from The Social Network - a big face covered by words - but I must say that the red tint somehow makes it look a bit more epic. The banner, on the other hand, is a bit more standard, though I'm surprised to see Idris Elba so prominently featured if not only because he hasn't been that big a part of the marketing up until this point. Why not Tom Hiddleston, who plays the film's main antagonist? It's definitely a strange choice.
