In These Recession Times, Spend Your Money On Uwe Boll

A while back someone was harnessing the power of the internet to get Uwe Boll to stop making movies forever and ever. But apparently two can play at that game, and now Boll is taking to the web to ask you-- yes, you!-- to cough up your hard-earned money and let him make yet another horrible movie.

Ahh, democracy. THR reports that Boll is asking for 33 euros apiece-- about $49-- for fans to become "co-producers" on his next movie, Blackout. That money presumably gets you a credit in the film, as well as a limited-edition DVD of the film and a chance to win a trip to the set.

You only have until March 31 to make your contribution at TheBlackoutFilm.com, so go now! Why spend your money donating to charity, or buying your grandmother a Valentine's Day present, or hell, putting money toward movies that actually deserve it? Uwe Boll will shamelessly take your money, and there just might be enough of you out there who are shameless enough to give it.
