Roger L. Jackson Returns To Voice The Killer In Scream 4

Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette aren’t the only Scream vets back on board for the fourth film, so is Roger L. Jackson. Roger who? Jackson is the guy who voiced the killer in the three original films. The news appeared on Wednesday’s Korner who quotes the voice actor as saying, “It's a lot of fun, I love the work! It's going to be a great horror sequel.”
This might sound like trivial news and seem like only a tiny piece to the Scream puzzle, but if Jackson was replaced, the difference would probably be quite jarring. It’s one thing to swap out a live-action actor like let’s say Don Cheadle for Terrence Howard in Iron Man 2, but when a character has the same face, but a different voice to go with it, something will feel off. Plus, the killer’s voice is just so iconic. Even when you repeat the question “What’s your favorite scary movie?” in your head, it’ll always be in Jackson’s voice. In the midst of all of this casting and script drama, news of Jackson’s inclusion is greatly appreciated.
