We've seen the production of the upcoming 007 adventure Skyfall take their production to Shanghai and London, but now it's time to take a closer look at the part of the film that shot in Istanbul, Turkey. A brand new video blog has surfaced online, giving fans of James Bond a new opportunity to look at the insane, epic train sequence that they filmed. Check it out!
We here at Cinema Blend actually have a close connection to this part of the production, as our own Katey Rich actually traveled out to Istanbul earlier this year to interview the cast and crew and watch them shoot scenes from the movie. You can read about what she learned on the set HERE and be sure to check out her interviews with Sam Mendes and the new Bond girls, Naomi Harris and Berenice Marlohe.
The third James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig as the legendary spy, the film sees 007's loyalty to M (Dame Judi Dench) tested as a dark secret from her past comes back to haunt her while MI6 under attack. Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace and Ben Whishaw co-star with Javier Bardem playing the central villain. Look for the Skyfall in theaters on November 9th and to see all the trailers and previously released video blogs head over to our Blend Film Database.
