This summer Tom Hiddleston will return to the screen as the villainous god of mischief Loki, who will terrorize the Avengers and try to take over Earth (if you wish to get an idea of what exactly that might look like, check out the new trailer for The Avengers that dropped earlier today). But Hiddleston can be both a lover and a fighter, as shown in The Deep Blue Sea, the new film from Terence Davies that has also come out with a brand new trailer.

Check out the new preview below and head over to Apple to see it in high def.

Based on the play by Terence Rattigan, The Deep Blue Sea centers on a woman named Hester Collyer (Rachel Weisz), the beautiful wife of well-respected British judge who feels trapped in a passionless marriage. She then meets Freddie Page (Tom Hiddleston), a Royal Air Force pilot with whom she begins to have an affair. When the secret gets out, though, her life is thrown into turmoil and she is left alone to pick up the pieces. The film also stars Silm Russell Beale, Karl Johnson, Barbara Jefford and Ann Mitchell. Look for the title when it is put into limited release on March 23rd and to see more from the movie head over to our Blend Film Database.
