Trailer For Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Undead

Making a production of Hamlet seems pretty difficult on its own, but what if one of your cast members is undead? That’s the problem facing Julian Marsh, who gets wrangled into directing the play only to find all the bizarre incidences that are happening around it. People are turning into vampires, the play itself is changing, and one vampire seems to be taking credit for writing Hamlet to begin with.

Oh, and this is a movie with one of the best titles I’ve heard in years: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead. Yes, those of you who read either Hamlet or Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead in high school can now revel in the fact that both are being lampooned. The new trailer for the movie is available over at ShockTilYouDrop.com, and it shows a movie that’s kind of half quirky comedy, half vampire story. Jake Hoffman, son of Dustin, stars, and he’s got much of his father’s Graduate-era awkwardness. He seems like a good choice to lead a movie that combines silliness and horror, the kind of movie even non-horror fans like myself might consider seeing.

And in case you’re not intrigued yet, there’s lots of girls in their underwear. Don’t ask me why; maybe vampire girls, like earth girls, are easy? Anyway, go watch the trailer for yourself, and possibly take a look at your new favorite Shakespearean vampire comedy!
