Vader's Living In A Galactic Empire State Of Mind

There are many reasons that the internet is a glorious invention. It has shrunk the world in terms of telecommunications, it has completely changed the way business is conducted and it has revolutionized the news cycle. But it also provides an outlet for immense creativity and when you get the right people involved, it can be pretty fucking cool.

College Humor has struck again, this time with a Weird Al-level song parody of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind," cleverly retitled "Galactic Empire State of Mind," and retelling the story of the entire original Star Wars trilogy. The video is pumped with awesome references both inside and outside of the lyrics, from the fate of the unfortunately-named Jek Porkins to Princess Leia playing Max Rebo's keyboard from Return of The Jedi. Throw in some break-dancing rebel pilots and the always awesome metal bikini and you have something any Star Wars fan can appreciate.

Check out the video (with lyrics!) posted below and to sing along, you can find the lyrics over at College Humor.
