I’ve seen The Wrestler and Frost/Nixon. Good movies and Mickey Rourke will probably win an Oscar, but I’ve yet to find a decent Best Picture contender among this year’s crop of Oscar baiters. I’m hoping that will change when I see Milk tomorrow.
The film stars Sean Penn as the first openly gay man elected to major office in the United States. The movie tells the story of his rise to prominence, and his tragic end at the hands of a homophobic colleague.
