Robert Downey Jr. And Mark Ruffalo Shared An Infinity War Selfie, Because National Selfie Day

By this point, it is common knowledge that Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. have been rocking a solid bromance for quite some time. Any time that one of the pair uploads an image of themselves together, it immediately causes the movie world to collectively gush, 'Aw.' So obviously they weren't going to let National Selfie Day pass without posting an image cheek-to-cheek. Especially because they were spending the day together on the set of Avengers: Infinity War. Thankfully for lovers of all things Ruffalo and Downey Jr., the image is just as majestic as you could imagine. You can devour and breathe it in all of its glory right below.

Aren't they just divine? The above image comes courtesy of Mark Ruffalo's Instagram account, and he decided to share it with the world on Thursday. Clearly Mark Ruffalo was in a rather good mood on Thursday, because he also shared another picture of himself and Robert Downey Jr. But rather than this just being a selfie of the two of them, this time he also invited Benedict Cumberbatch and Benedict Wong to the party.

All of which suggests that the mood and atmosphere on the set of Avengers: Infinity War is pretty damn good. That's something that movie fans never really had to worry about in the past, but considering the recent shenanigans with Han Solo, it's a little reassuring. Of course, the reason why Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. are spending so much time together at the moment is that they're hard at work on Avengers: Infinity War, which is basically bringing together every single important member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for its biggest blockbuster yet.

The antics in Avengers: Infinity War are so seismic that it's getting a follow up just a year later. We're still not even sure what Avengers 4 will be called, which has led to speculation that its title actually includes a spoiler. We'll only find out if that's actually the case when Avengers: Infinity War is released on May 4, 2018, while the fourth Avengers outing will follow nearly exactly a year later on May 3, 2019.

Those of you that are looking to watch something in theaters a little bit before then can check out CinemaBlend's full 2017 movie release schedule for some tips. Might I suggest the next installment to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is none other than Spider-Man: Homecoming. That will be with us on July 7, and will include Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. If you're after a glimpse of the Ruff, then you will just have to wait until Thor: Ragnarok on November 3.
