Ralph Break's The Internet's Gal Gadot Shares Behind-The-Scenes Look At Movie

After getting her start in Hollywood playing Gisele Yashar in three of the Fast and the Furious movies (four if you count that deleted Furious 7 scene), Gal Gadot's stardom propelled to new heights when she was cast as the DC Extended Universe's Wonder Woman. We'll next see Gadot reprising Diana of Themyscira late next year in Wonder Woman 1984, but in the meantime, the actress is stepping into the world of animation for the first time by voicing Shank in Ralph Breaks the Internet. We're a little over two months away from seeing Gadot's badass-looking character pop up in the Wreck-It Ralph sequel, but Gadot recently shared a picture of herself behind the scenes on the movie.

Although Gal Gadot's involvement in Ralph Breaks the Internet was only made public last month, it takes a long time to put together an animated movie, and since Shank is being framed as one of the more important characters in the movie, it's a good bet that the actress recorded her part long before then. Getting to contribute to an animated movie, and a Disney one at that, is a big deal, but for Gadot it's especially important. Although many kids know about her as Wonder Woman, she has yet to actually star in a kid-friendly movie, so Ralph Breaks the Internet will be a good way for her to widen her fanbase. It definitely helps Shank looks so much like Gadot, and judging by her Twitter post, the actress had a good time on the movie.

As for what to expect from Gal Gadot in Ralph Breaks the Internet, Shank will cross paths with Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz while the duo is journeying around the internet to find a replacement part for Vanellope's game, Sugar Rush. One of the characters in Slaughter Race, Shank is described as a "tough-as-nails street racer" who takes her role seriously and doesn't like to lose. But Vanellope is no slouch behind the wheel either, and when she and Shank find themselves in a street race, Shank ends up being impressed by Vanellope's driving skills. Presumably from there Shank will become an ally for Ralph and Vanellope, but we'll have to wait and see if that is indeed the case.

Gal Gadot's Shank is just one of the new characters that Ralph and Vanellope will met during their internet adventure, with others including Taraji P. Henson as the Yesss algorithm, Alan Tudyk (who voiced King Candy in Wreck-It Ralph) as the KnowsMore search engine and the Disney princesses. Ralph Breaks the Internet hits theaters on November 21, so stay tuned to CinemaBlend for continuing coverage.
