Kid Rock Pricing All Tickets $20, All Beers $4 For Upcoming Summer Tour

No likes middle men, especially not Kid Rock. The popular singer has blasted scalpers who buy tickets and resell them for large profits in the past, and now, he’s finally decided to do something about the inflated prices his fans often wind up paying. For his upcoming summer tour, he’s pricing everything, from the nosebleeds to the third row, at $20 in the hopes that the fans who actually want to be there will purchase tickets early and keep them away from scalpers.

According to The Detroit Free Press, Rock is partnering with Walmart to make the across-the-board pricing system work, and he’s also working with each of the venues to keep t-shirt prices at $20 or less, beer prices at $4 or less and coffee free for all designated drivers. In addition, lucky fans sitting anywhere in the arena will be randomly upgraded to populate the first two rows in front of the stage.

Here’s a portion of Rock’s official statement…

“If this works we’re going to play to packed houses of fans who appreciate what we’re doing. If it doesn’t, might be a long summer, but someone has to go out there and fight these high prices out there and change things up.”

The “Cowboy” singer has always been a man willing to give back, and he’s never been afraid to try new things. With all of the success he’s had over the years, he’s put himself in a position to experiment and considering his heart is in the right place, I truly hope it works out for him.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale for this summer’s “Best Night Ever” tour later this week. Until then, spend some time watching Rock and Penn’s hilarious political commentary.
