Toddler Breaks Down In Tears Meeting Robert Downey Jr. Instead of Iron Man

It looks like Bill Murray isn't the only celebrity who can make a baby cry. Little Jaxson Denno busted out the waterworks in the presence of the great Robert Downey Jr., who appeared as himself and not in Iron Man form, as the 18-month-old was expecting. And the ordeal was caught on camera, as evidenced by the above photo, which shows RDJ looking concerned while the tot buries his face in his little hands. Downey's face may actually be the best part about this photo. Coming in second, the child's faux-hawk.

People shared the photo above, stating that the 1 1/2-year-old Iron Man fan couldn't wait to meet his hero, but was less pleased when Robert Downy Jr. showed up instead. The run-in happened in Western Massachusetts where Downey was there shooting The Judge. Apparently, he didn't have his Iron Man outfit on him, much to the dismay of this child, who is clearly much more interested in Iron Man than he might be of Tony Stark or anyone who happens to resemble him.

"He was fine as soon as he talked to him," Jaxson's mother, Heather Denno, told PEOPLE, explaining that her young son "was so confused because I kept telling him it was Iron Man and he knew it wasn't. Well, not Iron Man in the suit."

It's a technicality that an older child might be willing to bypass, but Jaxson's probably still a bit too young to make that kind of connection without a bit of help. And let's face it, toddler's cry. In fact, there's a whole blog centered on how easy it is for that to happen.

Jaxson may have been confused about the Iron Man/RDJ connection, but on the bright side, when he's older, he's going to have a pretty great story to tell and a funny photo to go with it.
