Dancing with the Stars is a series that pushes some celebrities to their physical limits as they attempt to learn and master ballroom dancing and advance to the next round each week. Unfortunately for some, that can involve injuries. Melissa Rycroft is the latest contestant to suffer an injury and there's no word on whether she'll be able to perform tonight.

People is reporting that Rycroft, who is one of eight remaining contestants in the currently airing All Stars season of Dancing with the Stars, was injured yesterday. She suffered injuries to the head and neck during rehearsals on Sunday, and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Her husband The Strickland and dance partner, Tony Dovalani went with her.

According to People, the fall happened when they were doing camera blocking for tonight's group number. As for the update since then, details on the injury are still vague but she sounded in good spirits in the tweet she issued this morning thanking fans for their love and updating on the situation:

According to Examiner, Rycroft was released from the hospital this morning but there's no word on whether she'll be able to perform tonight. Hopefully the injury isn't serious and Rycroft will have a speedy recovery. We'll keep you posted if there are any major updates in the situation. In the meantime, Dancing with the Stars will air tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
