To binge watch or not binge watch, that is the question. With streaming services like Netflix changing the landscape of television production, the question has risen whether or not binge watching is actually the best way to consume the new content. If you're racing against the clock, your friends, and potential spoilers, then you might end up not retaining some of the more nuanced moments from the show. One of the shows that suffers from this debate are Netflix's Marvel shows, and now Jessica Jones actress Krysten Ritter has weighed in on how to watch her show's second season. And it turns out, she fully supports your binge viewing habits.

Krysten Ritter recently spoke to Rotten Tomatoes about her various acting projects, including The Defenders and Season 2 of Jessica Jones. Regarding her show's sophomore season, she revealed that the fans are going to be in for a wild ride. And binge watching might be the way to go. She said:

I feel like it's a binge show big time. This season maybe even more so than last. Even as I'm getting the episodes and reading them on the page, they ramp up so much at the end that it's kinda hard to not want to just dive into the next one! So maybe try and savor it, but be prepared to cancel your weekend plans?

Now this sounds exciting. It looks like Jessica Jones will be so action-packed that we'll just have to binge it. And as a fan of Jessica and her complicated past, I'm all in.

Season 1 of Jessica Jones had to do quite a bit of world building. We were introduced to the vigilante and her super strength, and saw how she was affected by her trauma. Kilgrave used her powers for evil, and Jessica self medicated with alcohol in order to navigate her memories. But Season 1 saw Jessica vanquish her enemy, so it's unclear what the second season will entail.

But before Season 2 of Jessica Jones hits, we'll see Jessica unite with the other heroes of New York in order to save the city from Sigourney Weaver's mysterious villain. This adventure will likely catapult Jessica into her superhero destiny, where Season 1 was a more capsulated story focused on Kilgrave. Her adventure alongside Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist will likely gift Jessica a slew of new enemies, so it's time for the binge drinking brawler to kick some superpowered ass.

The Defenders will be released in its entirety on August 18th over on Netflix. Jessica Jones' second season doesn't currently have a release date, but Netflix had previously stated that it won't arrive until the year 2018. Luckily, it seems like The Punisher will arrive in November, so we'll have some MCU action to hold us over.
