Tori Spelling's 90210 Throwback Photo With Jennie Garth Is All About The Hair

June 8 was National Best Friend Day, and best pals everywhere were celebrating their friendships on social media. Tori Spelling of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared a photo that was a total blast from the primetime soap opera past. She posted a picture featuring herself and fellow 90210 star Jennie Garth from back in the day, and their hair is pure 1990s fashion. Check it out!

Beverly Hills, 90210 has been off the air since 2000, but it seems that Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have remained close with each other ever since. Their friendship has lasted through all the good hair and the bad hair that the ladies have dealt with over the years, and Spelling is clearly comfortable enough with their bond that she would post the pic of Garth's bangs on Instagram. I'm not sure I'd be happy if any casual acquaintance posted a photo of me in a ridiculous hair stage. Allowances can be made for best friendship.

While Beverly Hills, 90210 has been off the air for the past 17 years, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have reunited on the small screen. The actresses starred in Mystery GIrls together, which was a sitcom that aired on ABC Family back in 2014. They played former stars of a fictional 1990s TV mystery show who got back together to solve action real-life mysteries. The roles were pretty perfect for Spelling and Garth as a unit, but Mystery Girls was cancelled after only one season of ten episodes. Spelling and Garth both appeared in The CW's 90210 sequel series as well.

Now that reunions and revivals are all the rage on the small screen, maybe we'll get to see Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth back in action as Donna Martin and Kelly Martin. They were two of the only cast members who stuck around for the entire 10-year run of Beverly Hills, 90210, so any revival would absolutely need to include them both.

All things considered, the idea of a revival may not be too far-fetched. Luke Perry, who played bad-boy-with-a-heart-of-gold Dylan McKay in the series, recently revealed that everybody on the cast would probably be open to a reunion as long as there was a good way to do it. Surely Ian Ziering would be open to a project that doesn't feature tornados full of sharks on Syfy! We can only hope at this point.
