keeping up with the kardashians

As one of the most famous celebs in entertainment, Khloé Kardashian is used to being directly in the public eye, though she had aimed to take a step back from the limelight and Keeping Up with the Kardashians after giving birth to daughter True with partner Tristan Thompson. But according to one fairly wild rumor, Kardashian may indeed stick around the E! reality series for upcoming seasons, though with the stipulation that none of her family members are allowed to speak disapprovingly of the formerly adulterous Thompson.

While none of this has been confirmed by E! or the Kardashians themselves, Radar is reporting that the Kardashian family's treatment of Tristan Thompson has been anything but forgiving of his past infidelity, which has caused Khloé much emotional stress. As a counter, Kris Jenner allegedly presented a deal to her daughter that would guarantee the family would leave Thompson out of their judgments. The catch? Khloé supposedly had to sign on for another two seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, thus delaying her intended exit.

What's more, the deal also reportedly includes a provision that Khloé Kardashian much allow the E! production's cameras to witness and capture daughter True's upbringing during that time. (Strange days we're living in where a child's televised infancy can quell a family feud.) And finally, for all this to go through, it's also said that Khloé cannot speak negatively about the rest of the Kardashian family. Seems like a lot to go through just to keep them from speaking negatively about her lover, but considering how far and wide this family's voices are heard, it would perhaps be totally worth it.

Kris Jenner is reportedly happy that Khloé took the deal, and the latter will likely be happy if she doesn't have to hear anymore crap about Tristan Thompson. It was right around the time True was born that reports surfaced detailing Thompson's affairs with multiple women. The complicated situation has been hard on all involved, especially with public opinion taking over, and desperate times do call for desperate measures where loved ones are concerned.

And hey, perhaps this rumored deal played a role in Kim Kardashian West and Tristan Thompson seemingly squashing their social media beef recently, after nearly two months of online radio silence between the two. Stranger things have happened.

For now, it's unclear what Khloé Kardashian's distant future is on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but thanks to the recently released Season 15 trailer, we do know that she'll soon be heard saying her sister Kourtney can "shove Kardashian up her fucking vagina" after the younger sibling apparently stated she didn't want to be a Kardashian anymore. Ah the ties that bind families together.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 15 will debut on E! on Sunday, August 5, at 9:00 p.m. ET. To see what shows are coming and going before then, head to our summer premiere schedule.
