Tweeter extraordinaire Chrissy Teigen is expecting her third child with her EGOT husband John Legend, and she accidentally just revealed the child's gender to everyone. Last month, Teigen surprised fans by announcing that her and Legend’s two older kids, Luna and Miles, would be getting a younger sibling. Now comes the news that no one likely expected to learn so soon, or from Teigen by accident.
The Chrissy’s Court star gave fans an update on her pregnancy, which has taken a turn as Chrissy Teigen revealed she has been put on bed rest. In explaining why she has had to do so, Teigen accidentally revealed the gender of baby #3 and her expression as she quickly covers her mouth after announcing it is classic. Without further ado, Teigen told Instagram:
I wanted to update you. My placenta sucks. It's always been kind of the bad part of my pregnancies with Luna. With Miles, it just stopped feeding him, it stopped taking care of him. I was stealing all his food because I was getting huge, but he wasn't getting big at all. He had to come out early and Luna had to come out early. I was induced both times. Anyways, it's super weak. The baby is really, really healthy and he is big. I am stupid. Anyway, so yeah it’s growing beautifully. Everything is good, I'm feeling good but my placenta is really, really weak and it’s causing me to really bleed a lot.
In case you missed the reveal in the fine print, Chrissy Teigen slipped and said, “he” is big. So, yes, Teigen and John Legend will welcome another boy to the family. Thus, giving Luna and Miles a younger brother. Even if this wasn't how Teigen likely intended to reveal the gender to the public, she and Legend still have the new little guy’s name as a sweet secret.
Of course, the slip may not be the worst thing imaginable for the incredibly candid model. Chrissy Teigen got real with fans when revealing that she would be having her breast implants removed, and now she has opened up about her current pregnancy. It turns out that Luna and Miles were both delivered early due to complications with the placenta, and the third baby is tracking right along with his siblings.
Chrissy Teigen confirmed she is now on bed rest as the pregnancy is considered “high-risk.” Thus, leading Teigen to understandably cancel certain commitments. Thankfully, it should be safe for her to continue updating fans from her lovely abode. On that note, Teigen should also find time to continue binge-watching television and sharing her opinions on them.
The mom of three recently made headlines with her hot take on Netflix’s reality series Selling Sunset. While bed rest sounds rough, the upside is that Teigen should also have time to tune into all of this fall’s premieres if she so chooses.
