Bravo Needs Dancers To Step It Up

Attention dancers! Bravo is going to be premiering a new reality series that sounds very similar to Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. But if you’re a dancer looking to get famous, the similarities between Bravo’s new series Step It Up and that Fox series are probably irrelevant. What you need to know is that auditions are happening now.

Produced by Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforther (Top Chef and Project Runway), Step It Up will feature talented dancers as they compete by performing a variety of dances. The audition process is going on right now and I’m sorry to say, if you’re on the west coast, you’ve already missed the Los Angeles open casting call. The Chicago auditions took place last week. If you’re on the East coast, there are two open auditions coming up:

NEW YORK - Saturday, Oct 6th from 12pm to 6pm

Joffrey School of Ballet

434 Avenue of the Americas

3rd Floor

New York, NY 10011

ATLANTA - Saturday, Oct 13th from: 12pm to 6pm

Club Europe

4001 Presidential Parkway

Atlanta, GA 30340

If you’re unable to make it to either of those auditions, there’s still time to get your video-profile submitted. The deadline for that is October 15th. For more information on auditions and video submissions, click here.
