Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog Trailer Promotes This Tuesday's Broadcast

Those of us who've seen Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog probably don't need to be sold by a trailer for the film to get us to tune in to The CW to see it make its network TV debut. But we're sharing it with you anyway because it's fun to watch and those who haven't been exposed to this funny, musical story can get a sample of its gloriousness.

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog stars Neil Patrick Harris as a wannabe villain who's preparing to go up against his arch nemesis Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion) and win the affection of Penny (Felicia Day). There are songs and twists and not everything turns out as we might predict. We learned this summer that Joss Whedon's webseries would be airing on The CW this fall. Well, fall has arrived and next week, the mini-movie will air, delivering all the wonderful horrible goodness to the masses. Here's the trailer the CW released to promote it.

Despite having seen the movie when it was released online and later buying it on DVD to watch over and over again, there's still something sort of exciting about seeing it broken down in trailer form. And those of you who've been trying to convince your friends to watch it can now direct them to the video in the hopes that they'll get a better glimpse of its greatness and be intrigued enough to tune in on Tuesday night.

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog will air Tuesday, October 9 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) on The CW.
