Jesse Tyler Ferguson To Guest Star In Hot In Cleveland
When TV Land promotes a show, it does so in a big way. Just one day after Hot in Cleveland was renewed for a fifth season, the cable network broke the news the show would stage a Mary Tyler Moore Show reunion. Just in case that’s new news to you, we’ll give you a second to breathe out your excitement. Now, Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson is also going to guest star in the Mary Tyler Moore Show episode.
That’s right, while Mary Tyler Moore alums Betty White, Georgia Engel, Cloris Leachman, Marie Tyler Moore and Valerie Harper all work to get the gang back together in the form of Gorgious Ladies of Bowling, aka GLOB, Ferguson will be busy with a second plotline in the episode. According to TV Line, the actor will play a hot director in the industry that Victoria is really pushing to work with. However, Ferguson’s director character may have a different Hot in Cleveland actress in mind to play a big role in his newest work. It's too bad the actor won't get to join the bowling team, but it will still be nice to see the man work outside of his Modern Family role.
Fans still have a while to wait before either of these plotlines comes to fruition. Hot in Cleveland will return to the schedule later this year, with the reunion episode (and Ferguson’s!) scheduled for sometime in August. In the meantime, if you want to catch the program in all its laugh track glory, you can always roll with the Season 3 DVD or keep an eye out for reruns on TV Land.
