The Witches of Eastwick television series has finally found its third witch, and the lead role, in Rebecca Romijn. Linday Price, Veronica Cartwright, and Jaime Ray Newman have already been cast in the pilot for ABC’s Eastwick.
Romijn had to take time off from Ugly Betty in order to have a baby with husband Jerry O’Connell. Based on the John Updike novel, and unfortunately not starring Jack Nicholson, the series will follow the lives of three witches as they develop their powers. Charmed very much borrowed from this story, but it’ll be interesting to see what direction producers take the show.
Certainly they have a lovely group of leading ladies in Romijn, Price, and Newman.
