TBS' Wedding Band Premiere Set, Brian Austin Green And Harold Perrineau To Rock Out This Fall

Save the date! TBS has set a date for the premiere of their series Wedding Band, a show described as "equal parts comedy and heart," which puts Beverly Hills, 90210's Brian Austin Green and Lost's Harold Perinneau back on television in starring roles. The premise actually reminds me a bit of The Wedding Crashers, except instead of crashing weddings, these guys work them.

Wedding Band stars Brian Austin Green, Harold Perrineau, Peter Cambor and Derek Miller as four men who are regular guys by day, but become "weekend rock gods" in their down time, as Seattle's premiere wedding and events band - calling themselves Mother of the Bride (love it.). It seems these guys have figured out that being in a wedding band means getting to attend the biggest parties of any given weekend, and receiving a paycheck afterward.

Green plays bachelor Tommy (lead vocals), Cambor is Eddie (guitar), the married father of two. Miller is Barry (drummer), Eddie's "obsessed" brother Barry, who aspires to bring the arena-rock spectacle to fancy events. And then there's Perrineau's character Stevie (bassist), the new guy of the group, who has a lot of professional musical experience, but has never actually been an official member of any band.

The cast also includes Melora Hardin (Jan from The Office), Jenny Wade (The Good Guys) and Kathryn Fiore (MADtv).TBS has the big day set for November 10th, with the series set to air on Saturday nights at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Saturday night may be a big night for weddings, but it's not the wildest night for television. Still, it actually works out pretty well for those looking for something to watch before SNL comes on.
